Hello Everyone! It has taken for ever, but here is another post! I think I did it right this time, but we shall see! Here we find my pretty little princes dancing with her "hansun pance" which after much work in translation we figured out was her handsome prince. We had made a fort out of blankets and chairs. As I was putting away the chairs she was getting very upset. I finally figure out that I was putting away all the handsome princes. The imagination on this little one. A chair is now a prince go figure.
This is a picture of my little monkey celebrating when it we told her it was June 1st. We have a lot of family coming in June and she has been waiting for June to start her official count down.

And here we see Spencer teaching Kiersten how to be a Transformer. Little else exists in "Spencer Land" than Transformers. Kiersten is such a good sport. A dancing princess one minute and a transformer the next. She is very fun. Sometimes Spencer will even take a break and pretend to be the handsome prince. He always changes back into a transformer for the pictures. I have yet to catch the prince with my camera.

This was just so cute! One of my favorite things about living in the country is that it tends to force the kids to play together and not with friends. Kiersten in always talking about her "Best friend Shannon and her Best friend Spencer". They play so well together. They all take turns being the leader even. I am so blessed!

This is my handsome Spencer on a nice Sunday morning. Isn't he sweet!

Kiersten is such a little precious. As soon as I started taking pictures the wind picked up ofcourse and so we see the hair all over but she is still darling.

I tried putting Shannon under the swing set to block some of the wind but then the wind found us there too.

Just when the wind finally slowed down I decided to try one group photo. Cute pose but the sun was in their eyes. I was just not supposed to take pictures this day I guess.

Shannon and Kiersten and I have been very faithful followers of Dancing with the Stars. My little guilty pleasure. I found them all dressed up in their easter dresses one day praciting the things we see on the show. It was sooooo cute.

More dancing.

The Hanna Montana wig strikes again. This time turning Garrett into a star. When I first saw him with this wig he was jumping on our trampolin with the kids. I went to grab the camera and came out side just in time to see the kids jumping on him and trying to pull the wig off his head. I heard Garrett in a VERY folsetto voice saying "Ah , my hair! You're pulling my hair!". I was laughing so hard I could barely take the picture. He is such a good sport. The kids really do love their Uncle Garrett.

Here is a cute picture of Jake and Kiersten dancing. You can't see her face because she has a baby blanket on her head like a veil and she was pretending to be a bride. Oh my goodness the imagination on the one! What a good Daddy to play a long!

I put this one in twice apparently and I can't figure out how to delete it!

Kiersten was trying to get Jake to take a nap with her but she couldn't sleep through his snoring!

Just a couple of cute pictures of the kids.

I went on a field trip to the zoo with Shannon's class. We had a blast! Shannon wanted to wrestle every dangerous animal she found and bring all the cute ones home to be her pets.

Here she is wrestling a stuffed Boa in a very cute hands on section of the zoo.

We had this crazy day. The sun was shining on half the yard and raining pretty hard on the other half. Idaho weather can be so crazy! The girls decided to go play in the sunny/rainy yard and had a blast!

Spencer is watching one of our several little Transformer movies and acting it out as it goes. It cracks me up when he does this.

Look how strong Optimus is!
Spencer's favorite qoute from the real movie Transformers is "Left Cheak! Left Cheak! Left Cheak!" He was running around the house one day saying this and we couldn't figure out what is was saying. Then we watched the movie again and about laughed ourself to stitches. We have this great dvd player called "Clear Play" and I am so glad we do. It edits the movies for us and it is so fun. I am glad that we have it so that Spencer could see this movie. It is so cute watching him act it out.

Jake was laying some gravel and Spencer decided to help. I was very impressed he helped for more than an hour. Apparentally spreading gravel is great fun! We got him his very own shovel and I think that helps!

Kiersten wanted to join in the fun too!

"What's gona work? Team work!"

Fruitland did a parade. All of the first graders were Horton from "Horton hears a who?" All the different grades took a Dr. Seuss character. I may be biased but I thought the Horton's were by far the cutest.

My sweet nephey Riley came to visit and he was quite proud of all his missing teeth. I couldn't resist taking a picture of that cute crooked smile. He is such a sweet little bug.

Shortley after Shannon lost a tooth also. Look how happy she is. It is such a joy when the Tooth Fairy comes.

Jake pulled the tooth for her. He really has a good system. She doesn't even cry!

When Jake, Spencer, Cline and Garrett went to the Father's and Son's campout we decided that us girls were going to have our very own campout. Eilleen and LaNae came over to roast hotdogs and make smores.

What a yummy mess! LaNae even slept with the girls out side in the tent. I was going to and I lasted oh maybe ten minutes. I didn't put up the airmattress thinking I would be fine on the ground for one night. HA! Not even close. My bed felt especially good that night!

Spencer graduated from Preschool this year. Here he is with his teacher. He was in a Special-Ed preschool and totally did great! He has come soooooo far. He is entering Kindergarden with observation days but no special classes. We are thrilled with the school!

This is Shannon and her teacher Mrs. Beutler. Shannon absolutely loved her. She wishes that Mrs. Beutler would teach 2nd grade next year.

Here is my usual fuzzy picture. Shannonis the second one on the left. She is recieving a special award for being on of the top AR readers in her class. She loves to read and I am so proud of her. I love to see her reading except when she's supposed to be cleaning her room or taking ten minutes to set the table because she is trying to read while she set the table. Silly Goose.
Whoo! What a long post. Hopefully I will post sooner next time! I love you all and hope everyone looking at this is healthy, happy and having a wonderful summer!

April 19, 2009

Hello every one! Here is my first post done all by myself! You will see all sorts of mistakes. In fact you might do better to scroll down to the bottom of this post and read up as I forgot that it works backwards. Oh well, at least I've posted right!

I miss you all and love you very much!

Here is a picture of my new Living room furninture. I love it! It really help my Living Room to feel more finishe. I found the two plaid chouches on Craig's list for $200.00 and they are practically brand new. This isn't a very good picture. The sun was right in the spot where it didn't give me enough light but the light in the living room didn't do any good either. I'll have to try again later.

Here are my monkeys Easter morning! It was so much fun!

Levi decided that if Shannon was going to feed him, he was going to feed her! He just didn't quite grasp the whole let them see what you're doing plan and he would suddenly shove a bite of food ate her face.

At diner Shannon ofcourse was the Mother Hen. Levi didn't want to finish his diner so Shannon decided that she would help him. It worked great! He finished his food.

Spencer's kite was an Iron Man kite. I wish I had gotten a picture of him opening it. I was a little worried that he would be bumed because it wasn't transformers which is his latest obsesion, but he was thrilled.

Curt, Janae, Levi and Marshall came over on Saturday. I had an extra kite in the garage so he got to have one too. He was so cute! He was very excited about the kite flying.

We bought a special kite this year for Kiersten. It was a blow up kite that was supposed to be easier to fly than a regular kite. It wasn't. You can tell by her face that she was getting a little frustrated. The other kid's kites did great! We just couldn't get hers up very high.

Jake and I do not have many family traditions that have not been carried on from one of our families. The kite flying in one of our very own. The Saturday before Easter the kids all get a kite. It is very fun and something the kids really look forward to.

Here we see baby Marshall. Like the angel that he is he slept through the whole thing. You will notice that my picture is sideways. Sorry about that. I am still new at this and I have no idea how to chane that.

Here are all the kids with their baskets full of goodies.

Spencer was so cute during the hunt. He would always throw his hand up and say " Ah HAH!" every time he found one.

You can see Kiersten's "purple hand" here. She was very sick just a few days before Easter. Her temperature would go from 100.3 to 105.7 in 30 minutes and that was on Tylenol. The doctor didn't want to wait for the results of her tests to start treating her. We knew there was a urin infection and that it was aggressive they just didn't know exactly what it was. So they started her on an IV antibiotic. We went in every day for 3 or 4 days. To get the meds. She would tell people "My hand is broken" when ever she could get someone to listen. It turned out that she had ecoli in her kidneys. Once they were able to determine what kind of infection it was we were able to treat with an oral medication. It is so much better but she really did great! The trick was getting her to take it easy with her hand. I kept finding her on the trampoline and such. Just try to keep a 3 year old down.

Shannon and Levi are quite inseperable when they are together. He held her time the whole time they were looking for eggs except for when he was picking them up.

Here we see our little guys going out for the egg hunt.

Here are the latest additions to our little farm. We now have 6 baby chicks. They are sooooo cute. It has been amazing watching them grow. 5 or 6 more months and we will have fresh eggs! Yummy!

Here is a picture of the kids with one of our chicks. They were very excited to see them and wanted to hold them, but they were a little nervous.

Here is a picture of Shannon in the snow. If you can spot her she is sitting in a snow cave that they found.

We had all the grand~babies together for baby Marshall's blessing. (Marshall is my brother Curt's baby). The little monkeys had a slumber party! Naturally they were so excited to do this that they all wanted to sleep together.

Shannon has a Hannah Montanna wig. Heidi plays the part well don't you think?

When Christy and her family were here the family went up to a cabin that belongs to some friends of the family. They had such a good time. There was so much snow! I stayed home with Kiersten. She had a double ear infection and was quite miserable.

Here is my little Kiersten. We are making a fruitsalad. It was definitely one of those situations where she would cut the banana and say "One for the salad, one for me" etc. She is so cute though what could I say?

When she was cutting the strawberries she got a lot of juice on the cutting board. When she cut the bananas she said "Oh no Mommy! The banana is bleeding!" Oh the funny things kids say!
